Now I will explain the different items on the settings
menu. You can access the settings menu by pressing the button on the lower left
side of the application bar, the button with the "v " arrow, or by
selecting "Settings" from the trayicon's menu.
Active
Determines if Mizo - XP Netstats bar should auto refresh. If
this item is unchecked, XP Netstats Bar will not be monitoring any ports.
General
Autohide Application Bar
This will allow Mizo - XP Netstats bar to hide itself when
focus is lost, thereby getting out of the way when not needed. If this value
is unchecked, the bar will take part of the top of the screen, preventing
other applications from using this part. But in that case the bar will
always be visible.
Always On Top
If this is selected, the bar is always on top of all
other windows. This option is recommended if AutoHide is selected.
Dock to
Allows you to dock the application bar to the top or the
bottom of the screen. This allows you to customize your other application
bars to your likings.
Show Icon in System Tray
Displays XP Netstats Bar's icon in the system tray, allowing
the bar to send you tool tip notifications. This will also enable the Icon's
menu allowing you to access the program's settings easier. The system tray
icon also gives you an idea bout incoming and outgoing traffic.
Sliding Effect
When in auto-hide state, if this option is selected, the bar
slides in and out the screen. Otherwise the bar pops in and out without
animation. This property is ignored if the 'Show window contents while
dragging' option is unchecked in the Control Panel.
Startup with Windows Starts up Mizo - XP Netstats bar with windows.
Filter
Show Active Connections only
Only monitors the applications which have active connections.
Applications listening to ports or waiting to be shut down are not shown.
Segment Application PID's
If a single application is run many times it may acquire more
than one PID. If this option is selected, Netstats bar will show you each
instance of the application as a separate icon, and will show you what ports
each instance using. If this option is unchecked, Netstats bar will treat
all instances of the application as one instance showing its icon only once.
Resolve Host Names
If this option is selected, Netstats bar will try to get the
Url of the remote hosts from their IP address. This information will be
shown in the information box. Note that this may require some time for
Netstats bar to resolve these Urls.
Monitor
Allows you to specify what connections Netstats bar should
monitor. You can monitor "All Connections" or only "TCP
Connections" or only "UDP Connections".
Unknown Files
Sometimes windows reports some open ports, but it won't say
what application is using these ports. Most often these are system processes
or just useless connections waiting to be terminated. It is up to you to
decide how you want XP Netstats Bar to handle these connections.
Refresh Every
Allows you to choose the update interval for the auto refresh
function. You have a choice of 3, 5, 7 or 10 seconds intervals between each
refresh.
Network Statistics
Shows you detailed network statistics including IP Stats, TCP
and UDP Stats, ICMP incoming and outgoing Stats and information about the
available protocols. All entries are commented to give you a hint about what
these values actually mean.

Ticker updates itself automatically every day.
